It was founded in 2018 by Hunter Laing and is picturesquely situated between the well known distilleries Caol Ila and Bunnahabhain. Ardnahoe relies on traditional methods such as worm tub condensers, which give the whisky more depth and complexity. The distillery is known for its fresh, peaty style with a clear Islay character.
